For studio clients

Your studio uses
Vice Engine.

Here is what that means, what the platform is designed to do, and how your information stays separate from the studio’s business data.

THE SHORT VERSION

Clear boundaries, plain language

Plan freely.
Share intentionally.

Vice Engine helps studios offer visual piercing planning and a smoother booking handoff. You can explore anonymously. If you later create a profile, your broader piercing history is not automatically owned by or exposed to any one studio.

01 / EXPLORE

No camera required

The Atlas uses a shared anatomical model. It does not need a face scan, selfie, photo library, or live camera feed.

02 / CHOOSE

Anonymous planning

You can explore available placements and build a temporary plan before deciding whether an account is useful to you.

03 / OWN

Your global profile

Your personal record is designed to follow you—not become the property of the first studio you visit through the platform.

04 / SHARE

Studio boundaries

A studio sees the plan you bring to it and the records relevant to your work there. Cross-studio history requires an intentional sharing step.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN

The flow, without the fine print

From curiosity
to your appointment.

01

You open the planner

Your studio’s published services and jewelry options load inside the Vice Engine Atlas. Browsing does not require a profile.

02

You build a plan

Your selected placements and jewelry stay together as a temporary plan. They are requests—not a promise that your anatomy is suitable.

03

You continue to booking

The plan moves to the studio’s booking flow so you do not have to re-enter it. The studio receives the details needed to review your request.

04

You choose what to keep

If you create a profile, you can keep plans and records together. Studio-verified work and personal entries remain clearly labelled.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Ask the obvious things

No mystery
required.

Does Vice Engine decide whether I can get a piercing?

No. The Atlas is a planning and education tool. Your piercer’s in-person anatomy assessment and professional judgment remain the final authority.

Can my studio see what I did at another studio?

Not automatically. The platform is being built so that cross-studio history is shared only when you explicitly choose the relevant records.

Does the planner use my face or camera?

No. The current planning experience uses a shared 3D anatomical model and does not require a selfie, face scan, photo upload, or camera permission.

What is the difference between verified and personal records?

A studio-verified record is created from work the studio marks complete. A personal record is information you add yourself. Vice Engine keeps that provenance visible instead of blending the two.

Is the production privacy policy available yet?

Vice Engine is currently in pilot development. This page explains the product’s privacy architecture, but it is not a substitute for the final legal privacy policy, retention schedule, and service terms required before public launch.
